Nepalese New Year

In April 2015, the world was shocked as Nepal faced a 7.8 magnitude earthquake, one of the most major earthquakes in recent history. Over 8,000 people were killed and 21,000 injured, with severe aftershocks affecting nearly 3000 people.

Nearly 1 year after devastating earthquake shook Nepal, the Nepalese community in Liverpool celebrated their new year, 2073 by marking it with a cultural celebration.
