THIS radio offers a facility for students to explore their interests, passions, community interaction, networking, and finding their inner radio voice. Students are encouraged to create variety programmes that encompass popular cultural interests and more nuanced areas of personal and community interests, filled of course with GREAT MUSIC.
Students can complete Service And Leadership Awards (SALA) through volunteering at the station and can get involved in presenting, producing, audio journalism, print journalism, social media, film making, photography, live band recording and outside broadcasting event management. Media training for radio volunteers is free and could be useful for developing your CVs and employability prospects or simply for the fun of expressing your creativity.
If you are interested in getting involved in the THIS radio community as a volunteer, please contact Mike Boyle at email address: firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how you can become an active member.
